Mercedes-Benz arranges an exclusive “Driving Events” experience for model year 2020 Line up

Mercedes-Benz Egypt hosted an exclusive Driving Event experience showcasing its impressive Model year 2020 line up. The high profile event took place at the Egyptian Road Safety Training Center, demonstrating Mercedes-Benz cutting-edge innovations and driving assistance systems. Throughout the action-packed event, participants experienced all kinds of thrills behind the wheel across challenging courses after gaining first-hand experience from certified German professional driving instructors from Mercedes-Benz Driving Events. The 5-day event was arranged for Mercedes-Benz VIP customers and members of the media. The attendees were fascinated by the leading model year 2020 line up ranging from the A to the S-Class, including the new A-Class Saloon, new CLA, GLA, C-Class, E-Class, new GLC SUV and GLC Coupé, and of course the flagship S-Class.

The certified drivers held theoretical and technical training sessions, where the participants got the chance to learn how to confidently master challenging driving situations on courses that simulate challenging road and traffic situations. The participants experienced the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive throughout several test drives arranged across the various courses, where each course focused on a different driving drill including Braking & Avoiding, handling, skid plate and the intelligent drive course.

Some of the intelligent drive features demonstrated include Active Brake Assist, Active Parking assist with PARKTRONIC, DYNAMIC SELECT, PRE-SAFE® system, AGILITY CONTROL suspension with selective damping system.
