THE SPORTS WORLD CAME TOGETHER AT 'WORLD SPORTS ISTANBUL'

The sports industry came together at World Sports Istanbul, organized by TAM Fairs Inc. at the Istanbul Expo Center between 10-13 January 2024. Wolrd Sports Istanbul, Turkey's largest and most comprehensive sports industry fair, enabled hundreds of local and foreign participants to achieve their export and import targets.

The President of FEDAS - European Sports Goods Retailers Federation - Michale Nendwich, Former Central Referee Institution  President and Okan University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Lale Orta World Sports Istanbul, officially opened by important names such as Lale Orta, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Culture and Sports Committee Chairman Onur Ateş, broke record after record as a sector fair, both in terms of trade and visitors.

World Sports Istanbul, the largest reunion of the sports industries around the region, hosting the world’s leading manufacturers, was achieved with the participation of hundreds of local and foreign brands welcoming more than 11.617 visitors.

Becoming the most sought after event of Eurasian markets, World Sports Istanbul managed to become the trade platform where fashion and trends are determined with the products showcased towards design and tech conscious audience, having strengthened the power of the fitness & wellness sectors with direct commercial activities performed during 4 exhibition days.

GREAT INTEREST FROM FOREIGN COUNTRIES IN THE GLOBAL MEETING OF THE SPORT SECTOR

It hosted hundreds of visitors from the Middle East, North Africa, Eastern Europe and Far East countries, especially Russia and CIS countries. At the same time, companies from many countries such as China, Pakistan, Egypt, Estonia, Italy and Germany took part in the fair to expand their trade network in World Sports Istanbul. World Sports Istanbul, one of the largest fairs in the sports industry, broke record after record both in terms of trade and visitors with 10,610 domestic visitors and 1,017 foreign visitors.

Breath-taking Shows and World Famous Athletes were at WSI'24

Renowned bodybuilding athletes such as Mr. Olympia and IFBB pro athletes Vahid Badpei, Sahar Rahmani, Ehsan Kolivand and Kambiz Samadi met with muscle admirers at World Sports Istanbul with the contributions of Weider.

World Sports Istanbul proudly featured over 50+ world renowned group fitness brands such as Zumba, Les Mills, Pound Fitness, Athletic House, Belly Fit, Door Line Pilates, Jumping Fitness, Macfit and many more providing the most comprehensive scene of sports of colourful stage performances for World Sports Istanbul visitors. Reflecting various approaches related to fitness activities due to foreign presenters, World Sports stage is and will be known as the premier scene for group fitness creations from all around the world.

Vida Macura Maglica, the trainer of world stars, shared the training secrets with the visitors at World Sports Istanbul. In addition, many world-famous athletes and trainers such as Didem Zeybek, Hermann Melo, Yeliz Dingler, Rudolf Ouea, Ağır Sağlam Team, Barış Çunguroğlu performed unforgettable knowledge with the visitors at World Sports Istanbul. 

The organization, where dozens of sports events from all branches take place every day, featuring a wide range of activities, from demonstration trainings of championship MMA athletes such as WKU and ISKA World Championship Sabriye Şengül, to the Turkish Rowing Federation ergometer competition, from the Battle of Bosphorus Crossfit all-star competition, to kickboxing and gymnastics shows. The most important athletes in their fields performed at World Sports Istanbul with their most exciting shows.

As being unique arena of global sports ,  World Sports Istanbul Summits provided enlightening insights offering various topics held via keynote speakers including academics towards new generations of sports industries by synthesizing the sustainability and awareness with emerging concepts of sports communities around the world. Taking the first step into to creating the scientific platform for industry dynamics, World Sports Istanbul Summits  optimised the settings for various themes dedicated to corporate wellbeing, fit brain, the significance of physiotherapy, sports nutrition and many more.

Within the scope of World Sports Summits, Sports Nutrition Summit organised by Sports Industry Association – the representative of Europe Active and Treps hosted speakers consisting of renowned nutritionists, dietitians, sports nutrition academics and founders of sports institutions.

International promotional activities for the second World Sports Istanbul has already started gaining unprecedented pace, to elevate the 2^nd edition of World Sports Istanbul for an unmatched level which will be organised on 08-11 May,2025, where the products of hundreds of world-famous brands will once again be showcased.
